I love this smoothie that has a low fat and sugar content. The vanilla soy milk gives it the right amount of sweetness!
1 cup spinach or kale
2 walnuts or 1 Tbsp ground flax seed
1 cup light vanilla soy milk
Fat content of 2 walnuts is approximately 5.2g, 1 Tbsp flax seed is 4.3g. Walnuts taste better but have about 1/3 of the omega-3s in flax.
Total sugar is about 8. Unsweetened soymilk or 1/2 cup with water will reduce this even more.
